There is a place for you at Outbound.
Whether you are ready to launch, ready to walk alongside someone who is, or ready to open a door, here is where to start.
Become an intern
Outbound internships are immersive. Participants are surrounded by trusted mentors, focused job shadows, practical skills workshops, one-on-one conversations, and, for those who come through churches or Bible colleges, internships at partner churches.
Our first pilot ran in Summer 2026: four weeks with one intern. For Summer 2027 we are planning a cohort of four interns over eight weeks.

Mentor or volunteer
Young leaders need people who will see their potential, invite them into meaningful work, and walk beside them as they grow. You could be one of those people.
Mentor
Build an ongoing relationship with a participant, with regular check-ins on topics such as financial literacy, faith, professional etiquette, workplace skills, and resumes.
Host a job shadow
Give a participant a focused look at your career so they can confirm a passion or discover a new path.
Lead a skills workshop
Teach practical, real-world skills from your industry so participants can step confidently into any professional setting.
Share a 1:1 conversation
Meet a participant in a public setting to share your story, reflect on experience, and model thoughtful dialogue.
Churches & partners
Participants who discover Outbound through local churches or Bible colleges are matched with internships at partner churches, working alongside the pastor, attending fellowship events and Bible studies, building practical ministry skills, and shadowing church leaders.
If your church, college, or organization would like to host an intern, refer a young adult, or open doors to opportunity, we would love to talk.

Give
Your generosity provides training, mentorship, lodging, transportation, and life-changing opportunities for emerging leaders.
